Nigeria is quite active and serious about deploying 5G. Are we expecting the service soon?
NCC (Nigeria Communication Commission) has announced (during October 2019) that it has put the 5G for trials and these trials will last for three months. The main purpose of the trial is to observe the key attributes that it will bring to the Nigerian telecom sector.
The trials are also used to test the deployment of 5G by NCC’s top vendors using the same frequency and spectrums.
