Any intelligence about the 5G infrastructure development in Kazakhstan? I understand that the CIS is quite behind in the developing 5G infrastructure. May be the required high costs, and huge investment could be some reasons.

Kazakhstan is also keeping itself in the race of 5G deployment and doing various developments across the country.
Kazakhtelecom subsidiary Tele2-Altel operates the IT park in Nur-Sultan, and Kazakhtelecom made the 5G testing zone by providing Non-Standalone (NSA) 3.5GHz 5G service. These services will be providing to 5G enabled smartphone holders in Astana Hub. The company also has plans for 5G deployment such as launching of fixed wireless 5G network in Shymkent and also launching of 5G pilot zone in Almaty.
