Indeed both IXL and Twinkl are good. However, both have merits and demerits.
IXL is good when you do not need to print out materials. All its exercises are onscreen.
On the other hand, Twinkl has thousands of files in PDF, PowerPoint and Word formats. But all of them need to be printed out for kids to work on. Probably they can work on PowerPoint if they know how to use PowerPoint. Printing is an extra cost you need to consider.
Twinkl has so much much stuff that sometimes it is difficult to find the right materials. On the other hand, IXL is good in a way that it shows kids progress. Most of its questions are in multiple-choice, so kids need to make selections.
If you can afford it, I would recommend both. Sometimes kids get exhausted by keep looking at the screen, where Twinkl can help.
Twinkl is offering one-month full free subscriptions. You can use the offer code UKTWINKLHELPS by visiting http://www.twinkl.co.uk/offer to claim the offer.
